South Shore Women’s Expo Raises $1,000 for Jordan Hospital
Breast Center
A
rainy Saturday didn’t keep women from attending the South Shore
Women’s Expo earlier this month.
Attendees had an opportunity to enjoy onsite facials,
massages and food samplings. Raffle
items included “head to toe” makeovers, free room makeovers,
jewelry, cosmetics and more.
The Friday night reception/fundraiser
featured silent auction items donated by event exhibitors and
local businesses. Proceeds raised through the silent auction
benefited the Jordan Hospital Breast Center which opened earlier
this month. A check
for $1,000 was presented to the Jordan Hospital Breast Center by
East Coast Expos Director of Events, Michael Tubin.
“We are very happy that we can provide a venue to raise
money and create awareness for breast cancer” said Tubin.
